I’m a Christian. If it isn’t obvious, I’m doing something wrong, and I apologize.

I’m married to an amazing man who is a pastor and a chaplain in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. He is my hero, and I am proud to be part of his calling to minister to our church and our brave men and women in uniform. See his blog here: http://prodeoetpatria.wordpress.com/

I’m a stay-at-home mom to an active baby boy. In other words, I only write when he is asleep.

I have a bachelors degree in psychology. No, I wasn’t a lit major. Everyone thought I was because I was president of the English honor society. I did minor in creative writing!

I’m currently writing a novel about a college student on Mars. To that end, I’m studying genetics, sustainable design, geology, and whatever else comes up whilst I type. I think the librarian is starting to wonder about me.
“A glimpse of the universe in my head” refers to the fact that a tester for a personality assessment told me I live inside my head. It’s absolutely true. I write novels because I want other people to live in my head for 350 pages.
I believe that God has a terrific sense of humor. If you don’t believe me, go ask the platypus. Hence the name of my blog.
